In addressing market demands and offering OEM’s and Operators a one stop solution, Molapo Technology has enhanced its total offering through complementing its RF skills with competencies in the civils arena.
Our civils skills encompass earthworks, reinforced concrete slabs to carry communication cabinets, brick retaining walls, placing crushed stone on the platform, installing drainage, galvanised palisade fencing and roller gates, trenching for fibre optic sleeves and installing trenched power cables with concrete covering over. Molapo Civils also supplies earth protection circuits, soil compaction and concrete tests.
Molapo offers a full turnkey solution to telecommunication Radio Frequency (RF) sites, including all civil work, palisade fencing, sleeves, container, power supply, tower erection, antennae installation, RF cabling, fall arrest planning and working at heights. We also do the complete internal container reticulation including installation of the Base Transmission Systems (BTS), rectifiers, battery banks, transmission cabinets (TX), electrical wiring and cable trays.

Molapo Civils can undertake rigging of various structures including telecommunication towers, installation of tower antennae, new dishes, side of building installations, banners, roof top installations, demounting and removal of equipment. Our staff are fully qualified to work at heights and to perform abseiling services and fall arrest planning.

We have constructed various Broadband fibre optic telecommunication sites in close proximity to railway lines, taking fibre optic cables from network facilities to the adjacent distribution yard.
Molapo Civils has vast experience in performing telecommunication upgrades such as 2G to 3G celllular, RF fibre optic runs, antennae optimisation, cabinet replacement, microwave installations and fibre optic trenching and sleeve installation, in mountainous and inaccessible sites.

Molapo Civils management has a long history of civil engineering projects which include National Roads, freeways, mining haul roads as well as urban roads and streets. These include all drainage structures, culverts, major bridges and grade separations.
Water has been the hallmark of the Molapo Civils management experience. Projects include major dams, water treatment works, sewage effluent plants, urban reticulation schemes, major reservoirs, rural water supply and sanitation schemes, as well as major irrigation schemes.
Having been closely associated with water projects, Molapo Civils management experience includes hydro-electric power stations, including the design and supervision of dams, water tunnels, penstocks, turbines, tail races, generator sets, transmission yards and mountain terrain access roads.

Almost every civil engineering project has one or more structural component and Molapo Civils management experience spans almost every conceivable type. These include reinforced concrete structures, light weight concrete, pre-stressed and post-stressed structures, structural steel, structural aluminium and timber structures.

Molapo Civils management has proven to be particularly adept at project management and has managed major projects from inception to completion such as hydro-electric projects, abattoirs, mining projects, municipal capital budgets and many more.
